Episode 11: Designing award-winning sportswear with Claire Goodman

For this week's episode Emma is joined by Claire Goodman, founder of petrichor projects.

Claire is a seasoned technical product developer with 15 years of experience working with renowned sportswear brands including Rapha and Albion. A few years ago, Claire identified a gap in the market for size-inclusive cycling clothing tailored specifically for women which led her to create petrichor projects.

Since launching, Claire has been making serious waves in the cycling industry with her award-winning bib shorts and her dedication to size inclusivity and a woman-first approach. We discuss the journey of setting out on your own, the intricacies of designing inclusive cycling gear, how sizing actually works and the wider landscape of sports kit.

Thinking about setting up your own business? Claire has lots of advice on how to get your idea off the ground, whether it's sportswear or anything else.
